Victoria No. 203 (2007 film)

The remake of Victoria No. 203 was directed by Anant Mahadevan and produced by Kamal Sadanah, son of Brij who made the original film. Kamal Sadanah also played a villain role in the film. The film starred Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill, Johnny Lever, Preeti Jhangiani, Javed Jaffrey, and Soniya Mehra (daughter of Vinod Mehra) in the main roles. The film had a different music composer, Viju Shah, who created songs like "Victoria 203", "Deedani", and "Zindagi Aa Gayi".

The film's plot is similar to the original one, with some changes in the characters and situations. The film features Bobby Bombata, a huge industrialist who plans to steal some rare diamonds worth more than 3 billion with the help of his girlfriend Devyani and an assassin Ranjit. They hire Tora, an expert thief to carry out the heist, but she double-crosses them with her brother Karan and takes the diamonds. She is killed by Ranjit, but manages to hide the diamonds in Victoria No. 203 before dying. The driver of the carriage is Jimmy Joseph, a diamond expert who is unaware of the hidden treasure. Sara is his friend who helps him out of trouble. Raja and Rana are two old crooks who are released from jail and decide to live a respectable life, but get involved in the diamond chase after meeting Jimmy and Sara. Bobby Bombata tries to get back his diamonds with the help of his henchmen and Ranjit.
